Triple Helix Corporation significantly increases analysis capability with new toolset: Text Analytics!

Triple Helix has now added a brand new and important tool to their analysis suite : Text Analytics! This much anticipated tool significantly augments Triple Helix data analysis capabilities as it now offers the ability to analyze unstructured, or ‘open-text’ data in combination with other numeric / structured data sources.

The benefit of this tool is felt immediately within the survey analytics area as it offers the ability to analyze large volumes of open-ended survey data without actually having to read individual responses. The key breakthrough is the ability to determine what is called ‘contextual-significance’ in text data which allows the content and meaning of the text data to be understood.

The broader impact is that now the meaning inside text data can be correlated with other numeric data to provide an even more precise analyses of customer data. A potential example of how this may be used might be to filter ‘negative’ customer satisfaction feedback with the customer age, location, and spending profile to determine if a particular demographic is being under-represented.
